Base pads for Canik replace the factory floorplate to add a grippy bumper for faster, surer reloads and—on many magazines—extra capacity (model-dependent). They’re also essential for magwell builds.

Materials

Aluminum

Pros: light, tough, many anodized finishes. Cons: cosmetic wear shows with hard use.

Install basics

Unload; control the spring while removing the OEM floorplate (eye protection recommended).
Fit the new pad (and spring/follower if supplied), ensuring the lock engages.
With the slide locked back, insert a loaded magazine to confirm positive seating—especially with a magwell—and verify drop-free.
