Basisplatten für Walther
(1 produkte)
Base pads for Walther pistols replace the factory floorplate to add a grippy bumper for faster, surer reloads and—on many magazines—extra capacity (model-dependent). They’re also essential when running a magwell.
Why upgrade
-
Speed & consistency: a larger, textured pad helps magazines lock in under stress.
-
Added capacity: extensions provide extra rounds where allowed—see product notes for exact gains.
-
Magwell fit: “magwell-compatible” height/geometry seats positively against the funnel.
-
Durability: aluminum/brass pads shrug off drops better than thin OEM plates.
Pick your type
-
+0 (bumper) pads: no capacity change; ideal for EDC or rule-limited divisions.
-
Extensions: added capacity; some models require a spring/follower kit for reliability.
Walther compatibility—quick checks
-
PDP: match Full-Size vs. Compact magazines; magwell builds require pads labeled magwell-compatible.
-
Q5 Match (polymer) vs. Q5 Match SF (steel frame): different frames/mag funnels may need different pad heights—verify variant.
-
PPQ / Q4: check generation and magazine length; compact mags often need extension-specific springs.
Materials
Aluminum
Pros: light, tough, many anodized finishes. Cons: cosmetic wear shows with hard use.
Brass
Pros: adds mass for positive seating and control. Cons: heavier for all-day carry.
Polymer
Pros: light, affordable, good for EDC. Cons: less impact-resistant than metal.
Install basics
- Unload; control the spring while removing the OEM floorplate (eye protection recommended).
- Fit the new pad (and spring/follower if supplied), ensuring the locking insert engages.
- With the slide locked back, insert a loaded magazine to confirm positive seating—especially with a magwell—and verify drop-free.
